The roadshow program
For trade professionals like you and your staff.
Since 1994, we have delivered pest management education directly to the field — removing the barriers between operators, suppliers, and technical expertise.
Our Roadshows have evolved into a long-standing trade program that connects pest management professionals with manufacturers, regulatory insight, and practical application knowledge relevant to real-world conditions. Covering most of Australia and New Zealand, bringing our warehouse to 22 locations, our Roadshows are eagerly anticipated and well-attended.
At each event, we create an environment where trade professionals can assess products, understand regulatory context, and engage directly with those responsible for product development and technical support.

From 1985 to a multi-state program
Garrards was established in 1985 with a clear focus on supporting the pest management industry through practical education and supply.
Our motto since day one is "Service with Integrity" and it is part of everything we do. Garrards have always been the one-stop-shop for pest management supplies - chemicals, application equipment and spares, safety equipment, education and training.
In 1994, we commenced our Roadshows as a structured multi-state program, addressing live industry issues including legislative change, food safety, urban pest pressures, and evolving treatment methods.
Since then, we have expanded the program to include product launches, regulatory updates, and technical briefings aligned with industry requirements and compliance expectations.
Beyond the product table
Our Roadshows extend beyond product exposure.
We provide a comfortable and friendly environment where pest management professionals can interpret regulatory change, assess active ingredients and equipment in context, and develop service approaches aligned with current industry demands.
This includes areas such as vector management, compliance obligations, and evolving treatment methodologies.
In 2020, we demonstrated the program’s adaptability by delivering the Roadshow Connect+ series, maintaining industry engagement when face-to-face delivery was not possible.
What the industry says
We consistently receive feedback from the industry that our Roadshows provide practical value as a professional development platform.
Attendees use the program to stay informed on product developments, regulatory expectations, and operational improvements, while maintaining direct engagement with suppliers and technical experts.
We continue to position our Roadshows as structured trade events, rather than purely promotional environments. Our aim is for every attendee to go home having picked up one tip, or one piece of information that they did not know before they attended.
Continuity and change
This brief archive reflects the operational history of our Roadshows, including event materials, technical presentations, product launches, and industry publications.
